8.9.3 PLC set-up and initial setting (Step 2)
Set the PLC IP address.
[Procedure]
1) Select the PLC No.
Select the No. of the PLC for which the IP
address is to be set by clicking the “
” button.
2) Set the IP address
Register the PLC IP address in the integrated
software.
* The IP address is set in the PLC using the PLC.
* Recommended IP address: 192.168.1.171 to 190
Set the IP address for all connected PLC for
general equipments by repeating steps 1) and 2).
Monitor the PLC version
[Procedure]
1) Select the PLC No.
Select the PLC No. by clicking the “
” button.
2) Select the [Monitor] button.
Click the [Monitor] button in the PLC Connection Set-up window. The PLC software type and
version are monitored and the results appear.
* A warning message appears if the address setting or communication confirmation fails. Check the setting details.
* Proper communication can be confirmed with the PLC version monitor.
Initialize the PLC
[Procedure]
1) Select the PLC No.
Select the PLC No. by clicking the “
” button.
2) Select the [Initial Setting] button.
When the [Initial Request] button on the PLC Connection Set-up screen is clicked, the PLC
memory is initialized so that it can be used.
Setting the PLC to the trial operation mode
Use this to run the PLC for general equipment temporarily when the "PLC for general equipment"
license is not registered in the AG-150A/G-50A.
[Procedure]
1) Select the PLC No.
Select the PLC No. by clicking the “
” button.
2) Select the [Test run] button.
When the [Test run] button on the PLC Connection Set-up screen is clicked, the PLC will run in the
trial operation mode.
The operation mode display will change to " Test run Mode" while the PLC is running in the trial
operation mode. "Normal Mode" is displayed when the PLC is not in the trial operation mode.
Close the PLC Connection Set-up screen
[Procedure]
1) After making all of the settings, select the [OK] button.
* When the [Cancel] button is clicked, this setting is terminated to return to the initial window.
Note:
• All settings are initialized when the PLC is initialized, and all data are erased. This "Initial
Setting" must be carried out only once when initially setting the PLC.
If this is executed during operation, the general equipment's control data will also be cleared and
the system will not operate correctly.
