8.3.8 Transmission of automatic output file by email
On the User setting 4 window, make the settings for e-mailing the files that are automatically output.
(User setting 3 on TG-2000A Ver.5.10 or earlier and Ver.5.20)
*On the User setting 3 window, set Trend funcion when setting trend data as a target of the e-mailing .
[Operation Method]
1) Make the following settings with the option buttons and Enter.
Enter the file type, sender mail address, sender name, destination mail address, SMTP server name,
SMTP authentication, and SMTP authentication settings.
Item Setting Content
Deselected “Transmission of automatic output file by email”
function is not used. (Default)
No other settings are required if this setting is chosen.
a)Type of files to be sent
Selected Selected output files are e-mailed.
b)Sender mail address
(Required)
Input Acquire and set an e-mail address for TG-2000A.
c)Sender name Input Enter the “Sender” information on the mail software on
the receiver’s side. The use of the facility name as the
sender name will make it easy to identify the sender.
(Max. 60 characters)
d)Destination mail address
(Required)
Input Set the destination mail address for the automatic
output file. Up to 10 destination addresses can be set.
e)SMTP server name
(Required)
Input Set the mail server name or the IP address for the
SMTP. Ask the IT management staff for details.
Unused SMTP authentication is not used when sending
e-mails. (Default)
f) SMTP authentication
Used SMTP authentication is used when sending e-mails.
This setting requires the setting that is listed under g).
Ask the IT management staff for questions regarding
SMTP authentication.
g)SMTP authentication

Input Choose the user name and password.
h)Connection method Selected Choose LAN connection or dial-up connection.
i) Dial-up connection

Input Choose the connection destination to be used at dial-up
connection.
To send e-mails, enter the required field. Ask the IT management staff for details of mail settings.
