This section describes how to check the Windows Service Pack version and memory size.
TG-2000A will not operate properly if installed on a computer that does not meet the system requirements.
Check that the computer meets the system requirements as listed in section 2.1 “Requirements (system
recommendations)” before setting up TG-2000A.
If the required version of Windows Service Pack is not installed.
Acquire an Update CD or download an appropriate version of the Service Pack from the Microsoft Corporation
website to update the Service Pack.

If the minimum memory requirements are not met
Add a memory.
After adding a memory, check that the virtual memory setting is set to "Automatic" or "Recommended size".
(How to confirm or make this setting varies with the operating system (Windows Vista/XP/2000).)
1. Windows Vista
1) Checking the Windows Service Pack version and
memory size
Right-click [Computer] and select [Properties].
Check that the Windows Vista version and that the
RAM is at least 1GB on the [View basic information
about your computer] screen.
The Service Pack version is not listed in the screen-
shot on the right.
The RAM size in the right screen shows the actual
RAM size (2GB=2048MB) minus the size of the
memory that is required to generate screen images.
2) Checking the virtual memory size
Select [Advanced System settings] under [Control
Panel].
Click the [Advanced] tab in the [System Properties]
window.
Then, click [Settings] under [Performance].
