5) Start “Add/Remove Programs”.
Start by clicking on the Control Panel’s Add/Remove Programs.
6) Choose “MSDE”, and click the [Change/Remove] button.
Select “MSDE“ from the displayed programs, and click the
[Change/Remove] button.
Uninstallation of the MSDE program begins.
7) “Add/Remove Programs” ending
When program uninstallation ends, “Add/Remove Programs” ends.
8) Restart the computer.
Since a program has been uninstalled, restart Windows.
Step 4) TG-2000A version upgrade
1) Starting SetupTG.exe
Execute ¥ＷindowsVista¥Setup¥Setup.exe
from the CD- ROM.
2) Install TG-2000A.
Click [Next] as indicated on the screen.
Install TG-2000A by following the procedures as listed in “5.2.2 Running TG-2000A Setup (New
setup) (TG-2000A Ver.5.5* or later).”
3) Restart the computer.
* When installation is complete, this program appears in the Startup Menu, and it will be automatically launched at startup.
Save the CD-ROM for future use.
When starting up TG-2000A, a popup window will appear,
asking if you want to block the program.
Click [Unblock] to exclude the program from the Firewall.
*If the program has already been excluded from the Firewall at the previous
setup, this window will not appear.
*If the popup window becomes hidden behind the TG-2000A window, press
[Alt] and [Tab] simultaneously to bring up the window on the right,
and select Windows Firewall.
Note:
• Be sure to restart the computer
after installing the TG-2000A.
• Check all of the settings, such as the user settings and charging system configuration, etc.,
on the initial screen, and set if necessary.
Note:
• This uninstall cannot delete some folders and files. (Ex: C:¥Mssql7)
• Please be sure to uninstall the MSDE.
TG-2000A will not function properly if SQL Server 2005 is installed without first uninstalling the MSDE.
