2. Precautions for expansion
The following precautions apply when expanding the air conditioner system
(1) The power rate, etc., cannot be counted while the power for the power rate count software PLC is OFF.
(It is the same with when the power to the PL controller is OFF.)
Either turn the power OFF for the count target while the PLC (*1) power is OFF, or notify the owner that
the power rate, etc., cannot be counted during the expansion work.
*1:It is the same with PI controller.
(2) When using the power apportion billing function, the term must be settled before starting the expansion.
The term's settlement results must be printed out or saved in a file. When the charge block is changed,
etc., in the TG-2000A after the expansion work, the charges may not be apportioned correctly in some
cases.
(3) When using the power apportion billing function, stop all air conditioners. The charges may not be
processed correctly during the expansion work, so the air conditioner breaker should be turned OFF.
(4) Never use the Initial Request button on the power rate count software and PLC for general equipment
software during operation. All of the billing data, etc., will be cleared if this button is pressed.
(5) Back up the TG-2000A database before and after the expansion work, and save each database. Refer
to Appendix 5.
3. Operation methods
Expand the air conditioner system with the following steps.
The steps are separate for the "monitor/operation", "power rate apportion billing" and "general equipment
monitor/operation" functions. Carry out all steps corresponding to the functions being used. Some steps
include expansion of the PLC. Carry these out according to the actual expansion requirements at the site.
