5.2 TG-2000A Setup (TG-2000A Ver.5.5* or later)
Before Setting Up TG-2000A (Windows Vista)
Before setting up TG-2000A on a computer running Windows Vista operating system, User Account
Control (UAC) and Windows Aero need to be disabled.
These functions are not available on computers running on Windows XP and do not need to be set.
Initial settings User Account Control (UAC) Windows Aero
Windows Vista Business ON → OFF Enabled → Disabled
Windows XP Professional (None) (None)
Turning off the User Account Control (UAC) allows the TG-2000A to start up automatically.
Please be sure to set this setting to “OFF” to make sure that the TG-2000A is started up automatically and to avoid
other problems.
Disabling Windows Aero minimizes memory use.
If this setting is left enabled, the program uses the computer’s memory to display the screen. It is recommended
that this setting be disabled.
Semi-transparent and 3-dimensional display functions will also be disabled when Windows Aero is disabled.
This function is not available on computers running on Windows Vista Home Basic and does not need to be set.
Steps for Disabling the User Account Control (UAC)
1) Open the settings screen.
Select [User Accounts] in the Control Panel Home
from the Control Panel.
Select [User Accounts] on the [User Accounts]
screen.
Select [Turn User Account Control on or off] on the
[User Accounts] screen under [User Accounts]
