3.3.2 Technical Implementation
A block made either of aluminum, stainless
steel or hastelloy contains two gas paths.
Both, the volume of the block and the mass
of the sensors have been minimized in order
to obtain short response times. To suppress
inuences by changing ambient tempera-
ture the block is thermostatted and isolated
against ambience.
The sensors are fully glass packaged to with-
stand aggressive gases.
