To enter Global Configuration mode, enter the configure terminal command in Privileged Exec mode.
configure terminal
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults This command has no default settings.
Command Modes Privileged Execute mode.

Privilege Level:
Unrestricted and general read-write user.
Use the
configure terminal
command to enter Global Configuration mode. From this mode, you can
configure gateway and switch cards, subnet management, IP addressing, and various aspects of your
Server Switch.
Examples The following example enters Global Configuration mode:
SFS-7000P# configure terminal
SFS-7000P(config)#
