(2) Considerations for the database
The restrictions when using database are as follows:
• To use a relational database, a license based on the number of MES interfaces is
usually required. (Varies depending on the relational database type and license
type.)
For details, please consult the relational database vendor.
• The redundant relational data base cannot be used.
• For the operating environment, refer to the specifications of the relational
database used. Use 32-bit operating system for 32-bit relational database.
• For the precautions for using each database, refer to the following section.
