Note If you do not have the latest software updates, download them from Cisco.com. Read the
Readme that accompanies the software upgrade for any known DDTS for the ARC.
Step 5 Make sure the configuration settings for each device are correct (the username, password, and IP
address).
Step 6 Make sure the interface and directions for each network device are correct.
Step 7 If the network device is using SSH-3DES, make sure that you have enabled SSH connections to the
device.
Step 8 Verify that each interface and direction on each controlled device is correct.

Device Access Issues
The ARC may not be able to access the devices it is managing. Make sure the you have the correct IP
address and username and password for the managed devices and the correct interface and direction
configured.
