Obtaining a New License for the IPS 4270-20
If your IPS 4270-20 has a license that was generated for IPS 6.0.x versions or earlier, you need to get a
new license.
To obtain a new license for your IPS 4270-20, follow these steps:
Step 1 Log in to Cisco.com.
Step 2 Go to www.cisco.com/go/license.
Step 3 Under Licenses Not Requiring a PAK, click Demo and Evaluation licenses.
Step 4 Under Security Products/Cisco Services for IPS service license (Version 6.1 and later), click All IPS
Hardware Platforms.
Step 5 Fill in the required fields. Your license key will be sent to the email address you specified.
