Configuring the System Clock
Clearing Events from the Event Store
Use the clear events command to clear the Event Store. To clear events from the Event Store, follow
these steps:
Step 1 Log in to the CLI using an account with administrator privileges.
Step 2 Clear the Event Store.
sensor# clear events
Warning: Executing this command will remove all events currently stored in the event
store.
Continue with clear? []:
Step 3 Enter yes to clear the events.

Displaying the System Clock
Use the show clock [detail] command to display the system clock. You can use the detail option to
indicate the clock source (NTP or system) and the current summertime setting (if any). The system clock
keeps an authoritative flag that indicates whether the time is authoritative (believed to be accurate). If
the system clock has been set by a timing source, such as NTP, the flag is set.
Table 17-3 lists the system clock flags.
To display the system clock, follow these steps:
Step 1 Log in to the CLI.
Step 2 Display the system clock.
sensor# show clock
