416 CHAPTER 29: WIRELESS AP BSS COMMANDS
Syntax
bss enable {index | ssid}
Parameters
■ index — The ESS index. (Range: 1-65535)
■ ssid — The SSID string of the ESS. (Range: 1-32 characters)
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example places SSID device called ‘enterprise’ in BSS
Configuration mode.
advertise-ssid The advertise-ssid BSS Configuration mode command advertises the
BSS SSID. To disable advertising, use the no form of this command.
