5.8.3.2 LightField and Partial Frame ROI Binning
Partial Frame ROI binning can be defined via the
Region of Interest expander’s Custom
Region(s) of Interest
function and the Edit Regions of Interest window similar to that
shown in Figure 5-15.

The ROI illustrated has been created for a PI-MAX4:1024i using dual port readout. Because
the ROI is not centered horizontally, an
Experiment Conflict is shown. Left-clicking on the
icon displays a pop-up window in which detailed information about the conflict is
provided. In this instance, the ROI needs to be centered horizontally.
To center the ROI, left-click on the icon near the top of the window to reposition the
ROI correctly.
NOTE:
Only one ROI may be created when Dual Port readout has been
selected.
When Single Port readout is active (i.e., the CCD is a
1024 x 256, or Single Port has been selected with a
1024 x 1024 interline CCD,) multiple ROIs may be created and
horizontal centering is not required. See Figure 5-16.
