g. Points may be deleted from the table by selecting them (either individually or using
CTRL-Click for multiple points) and then clicking
Delete. To delete all points,
click
Delete All.
h. Once the custom Modulation Table is complete, click Close to save the table and
dismiss the window.
9. Configure Custom Duration and Custom Frequency as required.
Configuration values for
Custom Duration and Custom Frequency apply to ALL
entries within the Custom Modulation Phase table.
Valid values are:
•Custom Duration: [1 ms … 21 s] inclusive, in 1 ms increments;
• Custom Frequency: [1 MHz … 200 MHz] inclusive, in 1 MHz increments.
NOTE:
If custom values are required on a per-Modulation-table-entry
basis, a custom add-in must be developed and activated by the
end user to provide this functionality.
When such an add-in has been developed and activated,
LightField assumes all custom modulation configuration is
done from within the add-in, and therefore:
•No
Custom Modulation Phase table changes will be
permitted within LightField;
•No
Custom Duration value will be displayed within
LightField;
•No
Custom Frequency value will be displayed within
LightField.
Refer to document number 4410-0135, LightField Add-ins and
Automation Programming, for information about developing
custom add-ins for LightField.
10. To drive an RF amplifier via the User RF Out connector on the back of the
PI-MAX4: 1024i-RF, click on the
User RF Output ON button.
NOTE:
The User RF Output must be connected to a standard 50 RF
load.
Configure
Custom Output Frequency and Output Amplitude (V
p-p
) as required.
11. If required, configure the following AUX Output parameters:
• AUX Output Delay;
• AUX Output Width.
12. Verify that the I.I.T. Power switch on the rear of the PI-MAX4: 1024i-RF is turned ON
and that
Enable Intensifier has been checked on the Common Acquisition Settings
expander.
13. When the experiment is ready, click on the Acquire button.
