3.3 Checking the Equipment and Parts Inventory
Verify that all equipment and parts required to set up the PI-MAX4 system have been
delivered. A typical system consists of:
• PI-MAX4 camera (Gen II or Filmless Gen III.)
• PI-MAX4 power supply
• Timing Generator:
Integrated into the PI-MAX4
• Accessory Kit
Includes:
— Light table mount extender;
— AUX I/O Cable;
— PVC tubing.
If ordered, an additional mount or mounts will be included with a double-ended
screwdriver with magnet top.
• Computer Interface: GigE
• Computer: Provided by user.
• WinView/WinSpec or LightField CD
• User Manuals
Note that the LightField manual is supplied on the LightField CD and will be
installed in the program directory when the program is installed.

Computer Interface GigE Cable
Standard Ethernet Cable, 6050-0621, 5 meter.
Other lengths up to 100 m are available.
— Interface Card
User-provided GigE interface card. (Intel Pro1000 recommended.)
