Explanation: This message precedes message KOGVL15I and is used to
diagnose VTAM session problems.
System Action: VU Server proceeds to transmit the response packet to the VU
Client in response to a service request.
User Response: None. This is a diagnostic message issued when TRACE
options have been enabled.
KOGVL15I aaaaaaaaaa:xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx *cccccccccccccccc*
Explanation: This message follows messages KOGVL11I, KOGVL15I, and
KOGVL16E and is used to diagnose VTAM session problems. The message is
repeated one or more times to dump the contents of all or a portion of inbound
and outbound LU0 packets.
System Action: VU Server proceeds to process or transmit the packet.
User Response: None. This is a diagnostic message issued when TRACE
options have been enabled.
KOGVL16E INVALID pdutype REQUEST PDU:
Explanation: An attempt to service a VU API request has failed because the
Protocol Data Unit which contains the request parameters did not contain the
expected number of parameters or was not formatted properly. The pdutype
value indicates the type of the VU API request issued. Message KOGVL15I follows
this message to dump the contents of the PDU for diagnosis.
System Action: VU Server rejects the request and transmits an error response
to the client.
User Response: Ensure that unauthorized applications do not issue logon
requests to the VU Server session. If this error message reoccurs contact Candle
Customer Support for further diagnosis.
KOGVL20I CLEANUP FOR SERVICE CALL VUPL=address TYPE=typeno
Explanation: Cleanup and termination of a VU API service parameter list
resource has been initiated. The address identifies the address of the control block
associated with the logical resource. The typeno indicates numeric type of the VU
API service request.
System Action: VU Server processes cleanup of the service request
parameters and frees memory associated with the parameters.
User Response: None. This is a diagnostic message issued when TRACE
options have been enabled.
