This appears while waiting for VTAM to initially update the status, if errors are
found in the APPSTAT request, or if the status returned by VTAM cannot be
otherwise classified.
System Action: None. This is an informational message only
User Response: No action is required. If you wish to investigate the status of
individual applications, the following are suggested actions:
Message Type: LOG.
KOGEC001 NO SESSION SPECIFIED
Explanation: A S sessid command was received from the product with the
sessid omitted
System Action: The session is not started.
User Response: Investigate the command procedure to understand why the
sessid was omitted.
Message Type: LOG.
KOGEC002 SPECIFIED SESSION NOT DEFINED TO POVI
Explanation: A S sessid command was received from the product specifying a
sessid which had not been defined to POVI during initialization in TLVCMDS
RKOGPARM(KOGVTERM) using the APPLDEF command.
System Action: The session is not started.
User Response: Either correct the cfile or REXX to start with a valid defined
session, add the APPLDEF command to define the session during POVI
initialization, or enter the APPLDEF command on the command line of either the
Operator or CUA/Operator CT/Engine facilities.
Message Type: LOG.
INAC Verify that the VTAM application is started and is accepting logon
requests.
UNAV Verify that no intermediate node has failed.
STOP See INAC above.
QSCE See INAC above.
UNDF This may be due to a misspelled application name or to a syntax
error in the name. It may also arise if the VTAM application major
node is not active. In the latter case, issue a
V NET,ACT,ID=<NODE NAME> command to enable the
application name.
UNKW Unknown status can occur as a result of the situations shown
under Explanation above. Further investigation should include
attempting to manually log on to the application in question from
a physical 3270 terminal. In addition, the IBM VTAM
Programming manual documents the zzzz field in detail, which
should identify the specific problem.
