Errors (Alarms)
3.1 Errors (Alarms)
When an alarm occurs in the inverter, the protective function is activated bringing the
inverter to an alarm stop and the PU display automatically changes to any of the
following error (alarm) indications.
If your fault does not correspond to any of the following errors or if you have any other
problem, please contact your sales representative.
Retention of alarm output signal ..... When the magnetic contactor (MC) provided on
the power supply side of the inverter is opened
at the activation of the protective function, the
inverter's control power will be lost and the
alarm output will not be held.
Alarm indication .............................. When the protective function is activated, the
operation panel display automatically switches
to the above indication.
Resetting method............................ When the protective function is activated, the
inverter output is kept stopped. Unless reset,
therefore, the inverter cannot restart. Switch
power off once, then on again; or apply RES
signal for more than 0.1s. If the RES signal is
kept on, "Err." appears (flickers) to indicate that
the inverter is in a reset status.
When the protective function is activated, take the appropriate corrective action,
then reset the inverter, and resume operation.
