Description
The softkeyslabeled
Marker Ml
through
Marker
M5
function
identically. The
softkey
turns the marker off/on. When an asterisk
appears next to the key label, it indicates
that the marker is on, but
not necessarily active. A marker is only active when it is indicated in
the active entry area.
The active entry area displays the active marker and its frequency
value. Use the rotary knob, the ARROW keys, or the entry keys to
set the frequency. Markers are displayed normally as Z-axis intensity
dots, but can be changed to amplitude pulses
(Amp1
Markers ).
When a marker is turned off, the frequency value of that marker
is retained in memory. If the marker is reactivated, the stored
frequency value is recalled for that marker.
The frequency value of Ml and of
M2
can also be used to define
parameters in two other marker features:
Ml--M2
Sweep and
Start-Ml
Stop=M2.
