BT Home Monitor ~ Issue 5 ~ 1st Edition ~ 26_01_ 04 ~ 5725
SELECTING THE SENSOR RESPONSE TYPE
The Response Type is the way your sensor will
react when triggered. You can change this
setting at any time, should you decide you want
a different type of response to occur.
Note that options 1 to 5 are not 24 hour sensors,
meaning they will only respond when your security
system is switched on. Options 6 to 10 are 24
hour sensors. They are active even when your
system is not switched on. An example of a 24
hour sensor is the smoke detector which monitors
for smoke whether you are at home or away.

SELECTING THE SENSOR NAME
Allocating a location is important because the
details will be shown on any alert message sent
by the BT Home Monitoring service. This ensures
you know whether intrusion has occurred via the
front door or if movement is sensed in a specific
room. To name the sensor, choose a name from
the available list.
