Alarm On and Off Status
ONLY AVAILABLE IF YOU HAVE ACCESS
TO THE INTERNET
A special feature of your BT Home Monitor
VP1000 allows you to see whether your alarm
is switched on or off via your personal online
account.
This means that whenever you log into your
BT Home Monitoring online account you can see
at a glance whether your alarm is currently
switched on or off. If you assigned unique User
Codes you can tell who has entered and left your
house.
The default setting for this is OFF. However, if
you choose to change this setting to ON you will
receive much more detailed and valuable
information from your system. To activate this
feature follow these instructions. Note that call
charges will apply each time your system makes
an outgoing call.
PRESS DISPLAY
Until the display shows
SYSTEM PROFILE.
Enter your User PIN – if you have
not selected a personal PIN
number, this will be the default
setting – 2580.

COMMS SETTINGS

SEND ON / OFF.
And the display will show
SEND NO ON / OFF.
Until display shows
SEND ON / OFF.
To confirm change.
Twice to return to the
Main Menu
Choose either:
To move to the next menu
selection.
Or
Then <OK> TO EXIT to return
to READY. This takes you to the
start of the menu settings.
