Please remember to update your personal
account with this information so that your
monitoring service can report information
accurately. You can do this by ringing the
number shown on your registration form or
via your Internet account.
Add / Delete Keyfob
You can use up to 8 Keyfobs with the BT Home
Monitor VP1000. One is already supplied with
your BT Home Monitor VP1000, so an additional
7 users can be provided with a Keyfob.
The Keyfob numbers allocated should correspond
to the User Code numbers also allocated, i.e. user
number 3 who has a unique PIN code should have
Keyfob number 3. This will enable you to know
who responded to alerts and turned the system
on and off (if the Alarm On and Off status feature
is activated). See next section on
Communications Settings for more details.
Please be aware that Keyfobs allow your security
system to be switched on and off without the need
for a PIN number, so they should not be stored
in conjunction with your address. Also, please
ensure that Keyfobs are kept with the correct
owner if you want to identify who switched the
system on and off and when.
