3.3. Initial Calibration Procedure
The next task is to calibrate the analyzer.
To perform the following calibration you must have sources for zero air and span gas available for input into the
sample port on the back of the analyzer. See Section 3.1.3 for instructions for connecting these gas sources.
While it is possible to perform this procedure with any range setting we recommend that you perform this initial
checkout using the 500 ppm range.
NOTE
The following procedure assumes that the instrument does not have any of the available
Zero/Span Valve Options installed.
See Section 7.4 for instructions for calibrating instruments possessing Z/S valve options.
1. Set the Analog Output Range of the M360E

To change the value of the
reporting range span, enter the
number by pressing the key under
each digit until the expected value
appears.
Press this button to select the
concentration units of measure:
PPB, PPM, UGM, MGM
EXIT ignores the new setting and
returns to the RANGE CONTROL
MENU.
ENTR accepts the new setting and
returns to the
RANGE CONTROL MENU.
