33.2 Configuring Private VLAN
Click Advanced Application > Private VLAN in the navigation panel to display
the screen as shown.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Active Check this box to enable private VLAN in a VLAN.
Name Enter a descriptive name (up to 32 printable ASCII characters) for
identification purposes.
VLAN ID Enter a VLAN ID from 1 to 4094. This is the VLAN to which this rule
applies.
Promiscuous
Ports
Enter the number of the port(s) that can communicate with any ports in
the same VLAN. Other ports belonging to this VLAN will be added to the
isolation list and can only send and receive traffic from the port(s) you
specify here.
Add Click Add to insert the entry in the summary table below and save your
changes to the Switch’s run-time memory. The Switch loses these
changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top
navigation panel to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when
you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Cancel to reset the fields to your previous configuration.
Clear Click Clear to clear the fields to the factory defaults.
Index This is the index number of the rule.
Active This shows whether this rule is activated or not.
Name This is the descriptive name for this rule.
VLAN This is the VLAN to which this rule is applied.

This shows the port(s) that can communicate with any ports in the same
VLAN.
