Motion detector
The unit has an integrated video sensor that can detect changes in the video sig-
nal on the basis of image processing. Such changes are due primarily to move-
ments in the camera's field of view.
You can configure the video sensor for any encoder, i.e. for any connected cam-
era.
The sensitivity of the video sensor can be adjusted, so that an alarm is generated
only if specified values are exceeded. Various options for tamper protection allow
you to set the reaction to tampering with cameras and video lines.
In order for the sensor to function, the following conditions must be met:
❚ The motion detector must be enabled.
❚ At least one sensor field must be activated.
❚ The individual parameters must be set for the operating environment and the
desired responses configured.
❚ The sensitivity must be set to a value greater than zero.
