Triggering relay (audio versions only)
With the relay on the audio versions, you can trigger different units (such as
lamps or the door opener).
– To activate this, click the icon for the corresponding relay next to the video
image. The icon will be red when the relay is activated.
System log / Event log
The System log field contains information about the operating status of the unit
and the connection. You can save these messages automatically in a file (see
page 114).
Events such as the triggering or end of alarms are shown in the Event log field.

Audio function (audio versions only)
Depending on the configuration, the unit can send and receive audio signals. All
users who are connected by browsers receive the audio signals sent by the unit.
Only the user who first connected to the unit can send audio signals to the unit.
– On the LIVEPAGE, click anywhere next to the video image to remove the
focus from the ActiveX.
– Press and hold the F12 key to establish a voice connection with the unit.
The browser's status bar displays the message Send Audio ON.
– Release the F12 key if you no longer wish to send audio signals to the unit.
The browser's status bar displays the message Send Audio OFF.
Note
If the browser connection that establishes voice contact with the unit is dis-
connected, the next user to establish a browser connection to the unit can
send audio data to the unit.
