Pressure Above Upper Limit
The system pressure has exceeded the upper pressure limit.
Probable Causes • Upper pressure limit set too low.
• Blockage in the flowpath (after the damper).
• Defective damper.
• Defective LPM board.
Suggested Actions ❏ Ensure the upper pressure limit is set to a value suitable for the analysis.
❏ Check for blockage in the flowpath. The following components are
particularly subject to blockage:
purge-valve frit.
needle (autosampler),
seat capillary (autosampler),
sample loop (autosampler), and
column frits.
capillaries with low internal diameters (e.g. 0.12mm id).
❏ Exchange the damper.
❏ Exchange the LPM board.
