911 emergency notification terms and concepts
The SIP Application Module supports sending Instant Message (IM) notifications
to a specified On Site Notification (OSN) subscriber whenever a user makes a call
to an emergency number such as 911. This service is provided by using the same
mechanism that allows users to push web pages and/or email links back to the
originator of a call.
Note: You must have telephony routing and domain management
provisioning rights to perform the tasks in this section.
