Attaching the Embroidery Foot
[] Raise the needle
[j_ Remove the foot holder by loosening the thumb
screw.
[] Attach the Embroidery foot on the presser bar
puttingthe pin on the needle clamp_ Tighten the
thumb screw firmly with a large screwdriver,.

°Starting to sew
[_ Lower the feed dogs by switching the drop feed lever to
the right,, (See page 24)
[] Set the thread tension dial between 1 and 3o
[_ Put some fabric under the foot and press Up/down
needEebutton twice to bring the needle thread down
through the hole in the foot,. Pull the fabric and thread
to the rear. Lower the presser foot°
[] While pressing clown the foot control, gently pull and
guide the fabric.
[] When the machine is stopped after I stitch sewing,
pull the threads and fabric to the near side and cut the
threads.
[] Repeat steps [] to [] to sew. Afrer finishing sewing,
pull the threads and fabric to the rear sider

* After sewing, reset the thread tension dial at "AUTO"
and raise the feed dogs, slide the drop feed lever to
the left.
