Threading the Machine
Raise the Presser Foot Lifter. Press the
Up/Down Needle Button to raise the needle
to its highest position.
Hold the upper thread with both hands as
shown and place it downward into the
Slit.
Draw the thread around the Thread Guide
following the solid yellow line as shown in
the diagram.

Then draw the thread down around the
Check Spring Holder.
Firmly draw the thread up to the Take-up
Lever and down into its eye from the right to
the left.

Then draw it down through the Lower
Thread Guide.
Slide the thread behind the Needle Bar
Thread Guide on the left.

6 Needle Bar Thread Guide
Thread the needle from front to back by
hand or use the Automatic Needle Threader.
NOTES:
• Memory Craft 10001 is equipped with
a thread breakage sensor.
If the machine is run without thread, it
automatically stops after about 10
strokes.
