SECTION II GETTING READY TO SEW
Connecting Machine to Power Supply
Before connecting the power cord, make sure the voltage
and frequency shown on the machine conform to your
electrical power.
• To sew using foot control (Conventional sewing)
* First, turn offthe power switch.
Second, insert the foot control plug (_) into the
machine.
Third, insert machine plug (_) into machine.
Fourth, insert powersupply plug (_) into electrical
outlet.

(_) Sticker (When embroidery sewing, the foot control can
not be used. )
• To sewusingstart/stop button (Fanbroiderysewing)
* First, turn offthe power switch (_).
Second, insert only the machine plug (_) into the
madline.
Third, insert powersupply plug (_) into electrical
OLldet.
Turn on the power switch.
Note :
* The statr/stop button cannot be used during
conventional sewing. It is used only for
embroidery sewing.
* The foot control cannot be used in embroidery mode.
* If you turn offthe power switch, wait 5 seconds
before turning it on again.
* After turning on the power it is not abnormal
to hear a slight humming sound coming from
the internal motor.
For Your Safety
• While in operation, always keep your eye on the
sewing area, and do not touch any moving parts
such as the thread take-up lever,handwheel or
needle.
• Always turn offthe power switch and unplug
from the power supply:
-When leaving the machine unattended.
-When attaching or removing parts.
-When deaning the machine.
• Do not place anything on the foot control, except
in Use.

Sewing speed can be varied by the foot control.
The harder you press on the foot control, the faster the
machine runs.
