Using the 131
Use this key when you are staying home, but might expect someone to use the
STAY key
entrance door later.
When armed in STAY mode, the system sounds an alarm if a protected door or window
is opened, but you may otherwise move freely throughout the premises. Entrance can
be made through the entrance door without causing an alarm, but the system must be
disarmed within the entry delay period or an alarm will occur.
Close all perimeter windows and doors before arming (see CHECKING FOR
OPEN ZONES section)

1. Enter your security code and press )3j.
The keypad will beep three times and will display the armed
Note: “ZONE BYPASSED” in this display simply indicates
that the interior zones of protection are not armed when using
STAY mode.
