KEYS O-9: Used to enter your individual security
access code(s).
POWER/READY INDICATOR: (GREEN) On some
keypads, thii lights when primary power is on. If off,
system is operating on its backup battery power.

On other types of

keypads, lii indicates system is ready to be amxo,
while unlit indicates system not ready.
ARMED INDICATOR: (RED) Lit when the system
has been armed (STAY, AWAY, INSTANT or MAXIMUM).
INTERNAL SOUNDER: Source of audible internal
warning and confirmation sounds, as well as alarms (see
“Summary of Audible Notifications’).
A-B-C PANIC KEYS: Refer to the PANIC KEYS
section for descriptions of these keys.
SPEED KEY [D]: The ‘D” key can be used to
activate a string of up 16 keystrokes. These keystrokes
are known as a macro and are stored in the system’s
memory. Refer to the SPEED KEY section f

Note: Unless stated otherwise, most procedures in this manual apply to all keypad types and styles. Some
procedures, however, are specifiicaliy intended for use by alpha keypads only (typical alpha keypad shown above).
The screen displays depicted throughout this manual are examples of typical displays that
would appear on a P-line Alpha keypad.
