Selecting a Channel

Afterfinishingthehardwareinstallation,trytoaccessoneormore

channelstoverifytheconnections.Useoneofthefollowingtoaccess

channels:

• Frontpanelbuttons

• OSD

Note:Ifyouestablishatwo‐tierMCCATsystem,theonlywaytoaccessthe

second‐tierchannelsisthroughtheOSD.Formoreinformation,seeChapter5:

Two‐TierSystem(onpage32).

Front Panel Operation

Pressthechannelbuttonwhosenumbercorrespondstothechannelyou

wanttoaccess.Thevideooftheaccessedchannelappearsonthescreen

andyoucancontrolthecomputerwiththekeyboardandmouseattached

totheMCCATunit.


