Outline
This instruction multiplexes four X-devices and four Y-devices to allow for 16 key (0 to F) 4-digit (byte) input. Keys 0 to
9 stores numerical values, and keys A to F represent function keys.
When the extension function is set to ON, hexadecimal keys 0 to F all store their corresponding numerical values.
1. Instruction format
2. Set data
3. Applicable devices
S: "D.b" cannot be indexed with index registers (V and Z).
Explanation of function and operation
1. 16-bit operation (HKY)
signals
[ to +3] and [ to +3] connected to the 16 key input (0 to F) are scanned.
When a key 0 to 9 is pressed, the corresponding numeric value is shifted into from the least significant byte, and
+7 turns ON.
When a key A to F is pressed, the corresponding key press information bit
[ to +5] turns ON, and +6
turns ON.
