•Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference Card. and turn
the Stitch Selection Dial to “F”.
•Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 4-Thread Cover Stitch.
•Fold the fabric lengthwise to form a ½” tuck down the center.
•Place the fabric under the Needles with the bulk of the fold on the left. Line the
edge of the fold up with the inside of the Presser Foot’s Right Floating Toe.
•Cover Stitch the tuck in place. Stop stitching with the Needles on the fabric.
•Turn the Handwheel away from you to raise the Needles to their highest
position.
•Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
•Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight cotton twill 4” X 6”
NEEDLES: 90/14 universal
THREAD: 4 cones of serger thread
PRESSER FOOT: Cover Stitch or Standard
