Serger Library – Tips and Tricks
•Following the diagrams on page ____ in the Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 3-thread Center Needle Overlock stitch.
•Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “A” on the Stitch Display Panel.
•Adjust Cutting Width to 2 (normal).
•Adjust Stitch Length to 2.5 (normal).
•Pull the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem towards you to disengage the
Stitch Finger.
•Adjust the Differential Feed Dial between 0.7 and N.
•Fold the fabric in half to 2½” X 6”.
•Serge along the folded edge of the fabric. If necessary slightly tighten the
Looper Tensions (up) and re-stitch the seam.
•Return the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem to normal (push the
lever away from you).
•Return the Differential Feed Dial to “N” (normal).
•Trim and mount the sample.
