Instruction Manual for Elasticator Attachment
•Attach the Upper Looper Converter.
•Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual thread the serger
for a Super Stretch Stitch using the Left and Center Needles. Use Woolly Nylon in
the Lower Looper.
•Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “B”.
•Adjust Stitch Length to 4.
•Adjust the Presser Foot Presser Lever to “H” (increase).
•Attach the Elasticator Foot.
•Following the instructions in the Instruction Manual for Elasticator Attachment, thread
the elastic through the Presser Foot and adjust the Set Screw on the Roller Guide.
•Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and serge attaching the elastic as you sew.
•Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Cotton or nylon Lycra 3” X 6”
12” of ½” nylon or cotton braid elastic
NEEDLES: 80/12 stretch or 11/75 ballpoint
THREAD: 2 cones of serger thread (Needles)
1 cone of Woolly Nylon (Lower Looper)
PRESSER FOOT: Elasticator Foot
