Simply Serging
Attach the Upper Looper Converter.
Following the directions in the Instruction Manual on page___ thread for a
Wrapped Edge using Jeans Stitch in the Lower Looper.
Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “B”.
Serge one edge of the fabric. Engage Differential Feed if necessary.
If the Jeans Stitch does not wrap, thread tension may be too tight. Reduce the
Looper Thread Tension. If the thread still does not wrap, remove the Jeans Stitch
from the Thread Guide#5 and try again. Wrap Stitch the other three edges of the
fabric.
Use Seam Sealant to seal the Wrapped Stitch at the corners. When the sealant is dry,
trim the thread tails.
Press and mount the sample.

FABRIC: Heavy wool or polar fleece 4” X 5”
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 1 cone of serger thread (Needle)
1 cone of Jeans Stitch (Lower Looper)
PRESSER FOOT: Standard
