Tips and Tricks
•Thread the serger for a 3-thread Overlock stitch using the Center Needle.
Use the Woolly Nylon in the Upper Looper.
•Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “C” on the Stitch Display Panel.
•Adjust the Stitch Length to 1.75.
•Locate the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem on the Stitch Plate and pull it
towards you to disengage the Stitch Finger.
•Cutting Width should be at 2 (normal).
•Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and serge along one 6” edge.
•Return Stitch Length to normal.
•Return the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem to normal sewing position (away
from you).
•Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight woven cotton fabric 3” X 6”
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 2 cones of serger thread
1 cone of Woolly Nylon
