Instruction Manual for Multi-purpose Attachment with Guide
•Following the directions in the Instruction Manual on page___, thread for a
3-thread Flatlock using the Center Needle.
•Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “D”.
•Set Stitch Length to 4.
•Attach the Multi-Purpose Foot (no guide) following the directions in the Instruction
Manual for Multi-Purpose Attachment with Guide.
•Attach the Right Hand Seam Guide and move the Guide halfway between the Right
Needle and the Stitch Finger.
•Lay the pre-strung beads in the groove on the top of the Presser Foot, threading them
under the back groove (See Instruction Manual for Multi-purpose Attachment with
Guide).
•Turn the Handwheel to encase the first beads into the Thread Chain.
•Fold the fabric in half to 2” X 6” and place the fabric under the Presser Foot with the
fold against the Right Hand Seam Guide.
•Slowly Flatlock the beads to the folded fabric.
•Pull the fabric flat.
•Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight fabric 4” X 6”
10” of plastic pre-strung beads (4mm)
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 3 cones of serger thread
