Thread the serger for a 3-thread Overlock stitch using the Center Needle.
Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “A” on the Stitch Display Panel.

I
Cut an inside corner into the fabric.
Snip into the corner ¼” (the width of the stitching).
Serge until the Knife reaches the end of the cut.
Touch the Needle Stop to lower the Needle into the fabric.
Lift the Presser Foot and straighten the corner towards you.
Lower the Presser Foot and continue serging.
Trim and mount the sample on the next page.

Rotate the Upper Knife up.
Cut an inside corner into the fabric.
Line up the left edge of the cut with the Lower Knife blade. Keep the edge of
the fabric even with the Lower Knife blade as you stitch.
Serge for a few stitches. Touch the Needle Stop Button to lower the Needle
into the fabric.
Fold the right side of dthe corner towards you at about a 45°angle.
Serge 1 stitch into the cut corner. Touch the Needle Stop Button to lower
the Needle into the fabric.
Lift the Presser Foot.
Fold the serged edge down and to the left, angling the serged edge about 45°.
Pivot the fabric until the cut raw edge is even with the Lower Knife blade.
Lower the Presser Foot and continue stitching.
Use the Thread Cutter to cut the Thread Chain (the Upper Knife is disengaged).
Return the Upper Knife to Cutting Position.
Trim and mount the sample on the next page.
FABRIC: 2 pieces of firm woven cotton 3” X 4”
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 3 cones of serger thread
PRESSER FOOT: Standard
