4-THREAD COVER STITCH

•Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference Card. and turn
the Stitch Selection Dial to “F”.
•Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual thread the
serger for a 4-Thread Cover Stitch.
•Center the fabric under the Presser Foot.
•Cover Stitch the length of the fabric. Stop stitching with the Needles in the
fabric.
•Turn the Handwheel away from you to raise the Needles to their highest
position.
•Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
•Following the directions on page___ in the Instruction manual, remove the stitch.
•Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and Cover Stitch the length of the
fabric again.
•Following the directions on page___ in the Instruction manual, secure the thread
tail.
•Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight cotton 3” X 6”
NEEDLES: 80/12 universal
THREAD: 4 cones of serger thread
(yellow, green, brown, purple)
PRESSER FOOT: Cover Stitch or Standard
