Serger Library – Tips and Tricks
•Attach the Upper Lopper Converter.
•Following the directions found in the Instruction Manual on page___, thread
for a 2-thread Rolled Edge.
•Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “A”.
•Set Stitch Length to 1.75.
•Pull the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem towards you.
•Adjust Cutting Width to 2 (normal).
•Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and serge one 6” edge cutting off
about

” as you serge.
•Return the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem to normal sewing position (away
from you).
• Press, trim, and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Batiste 3” X 6”
NEEDLES: 70/10 Sharp or Microtex
THREAD: 2 cones of Metrolene serger thread
