Automatic operation
The air conditioner selects the cooling mode and operates it. At the same time the active human
sensor detects the movement of people. If no person is detected, it operates in economic operation
mode. Also the brightness search sensor detects the brightness of the room and operates in
economic operation mode automatically.
When starting automatic operation, select A

The air volume is “Automatic” only.

Automatic operation
•
Active human search sensor.
It detects people (heat generation) by moving left and right, adjusts the room temperature
depending on the movement of people and operates in economic operation mode. Also if detecting
the absence of people, it operates more economically.

Brightness search sensor.
Brightness level of the room (around the indoor unit)
is detected and economic operation mode is activated
when it is dark.
Operation of active human sensor.
Notes
•
It may sense as no people in the below cases.
• No moving people.
• Less movement or slight movement by kid.
• When turning the back.
• Exposure of skin is less.
• Movement of people is behind the furniture.
• Room temperature is high.
•
High temperature objects or small animals such as dogs or cats may be sensed as people.
•
It may take time until the air direction changes.
•
When the direction of Direct air fl ow and Indirect air fl ow does not move to the desired
direction, set to the desired direction using the air direction setting.
