Turn on the main power supply

It takes 3 to 8 minutes for the preparation of operation after the power supply is on. During this period, the operation lamp illuminates. However the
operation does not start.
Check transmitting and receiving
Point the remote controller at the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit.
•
Correct signal is confi rmed by the receiving tone and the operation lamp illuminates.
•
When button is pressed, receiving tone sound and the operation stops.
•
Check that the signal is transmitted and received at the installed position if the remote controller is fi xed to the remote controller holder.

Notes
•
Use the remote controller where the indoor unit can receive the signal. It does not work if the signal is obstructed by curtains or sliding doors.
•
The distance for transmitting and receiving is shorter if a bright light such as sunlight affect the transmitting and receiving portion of the main unit.
•
The distance for transmission and receiving is shorter if the remote controller is operated from an oblique direction of the main unit.
