TESTING STITCH OVERLOCK STITCHES COMPROBAR LOS SOBREHILADOS
After threading is completed, use a scrap of fabric that you plan
to sew and test sew in the following order:
1. Gently pulling all the threads to the left, lower the presser
foot. Rotate the hand wheel towards you a few times to see
if the lock stitches are properly formed. (Fig. 1)
Despues de que el enhebrado se completa, usar un tejido de
repuesto del que piense coser y verifique el cosido en el
siguiente orden:
t. Tirando suavemente de todos los hilos a la izquierda bajar
el pie prensatelas. Girar el volante manual hacia usted unas
pocas veces para ver si el sobrehilado est& formado

2. Start the machine at low speed and feed in test fabric under
the presser foot by slightly pushing it forward. (This can be
done with the presser foot down on most fabrics except
bulky materials.)
Guide the fabric gently as machine automatically feeds the
material. (Fig. 2)
3. Check thread tensions by test sewing on spare fabric. (See
page 22.)
4. At fabric end, carry On running machine at low speed, gently
pulling the fabric towards the back, until about 5 to 6 cm of
extra lock stitches are produced without fabric.
Cut thread with scissors. (Fig. 3)
Arrancar la m&quina a baja velocidad y avanzar el tejido de
prueba debajo del pie prensatelas tirandb ligeramente hacia
adelante.
Guiar el tejido suavemente mientras la m&quina avanza
autom&ticamente el material. (Fig. 2)
3. Comprobar las tensiones del hilo mirando el cosido en el
tejido de prueba. (Ver pagina 23)
AI final del cosido del tejido, continuar con la m&quina
funcionando a baja vetocidad, tirando suavemente el tejido
hacia la parle de atr&s, hasta conseguir unos 5 o 6 cms. de
sobrehilado.
Corte el hilo con tijeras. (Fig. 3)
