2.2 Standard Operation Mode Error Messages
Error Message Causes and Solutions
Incorrect security code.
(ED1)
This error is displayed if the security code entered to
display the [General Setup] or [Camera Setup]
screens is incorrect.
• Enter the correct security code. If you’ve
forgotten it, press the FACTORY DEFAULT
RESET button to reset the BL-WV10 and
re-register all cameras using Quick Setup.
Cannot connect to
camera. (ED2)
This error is displayed when the camera cannot be
accessed.
• Check the camera’s power and connections
and its IP address as displayed in the camera
settings.
• If using wireless cameras, refer to the wireless
communications information on page 4.
Cannot communicate with
the camera. (ED3)
This error is displayed when the camera cannot be
accessed.
• Check the camera’s power and connections
and its IP address as displayed in the camera
settings.
• If using wireless cameras, refer to the wireless
communications information on page 4.
Settings could not be
saved. (ED4)
This error is displayed if a camera’s access is lost
when changing local camera settings.
• Check the camera’s power and connections
and its IP address as displayed in the camera
settings.
This error can also be displayed if unusable
characters were used to register a camera name for
preset registration or local camera settings.
• Register using appropriate characters.
Enter a name for the
Preset. (ED5)
This error is displayed if, during preset registration,
the registered name field is left blank.
• Enter a preset registered name.
The timer could not be set
because the recording
start and end time are the
same. Set a different start
or end time. (ED6)
This error is displayed if the start and end times for
timer recording are the same.
• There must be a difference of at least one
minute between start and end times.
