Item Effect
Compression Rate Sets the compression rate for images.
A smaller rate means better image quality, but with more amount of
data. (Value Range: 1 to 7) (Factory-set value: 2)
Saturation
Adjusts color saturation. A smaller value makes colors less dense.
(Factory-set value: 25)
White Balance Color correction system to deal with different lighting conditions.
Auto Automatically adjusts the white balance, the standard for color satura-
tion.
R gain To manually adjust the white balance toward more red intensity.
(Value range: 0 to 100) (Factory-set: Auto)
B gain To manually adjust the white balance toward more blue intensity.
(Value range: 0 to 100) (Factory-set: Auto)
AGC, AES, BLC
AGC:Automatically adjusts the gain in accordance with the bright-
ness. Factory set.
AES : Automatically adjusts the shutter speed in accordance with the
brightness. Only for a manual iris lens.
BLC : Back light compensation. When there is a bright light source in
the background of the object, VN-C10 adjusts the weighted zone.
Shutter Speed 1/60 : Normal factory set speed.
1/100 : This reduces image flickers due to fluorescent lighting in
areas where the commercial power frequency is 50 Hz.
(Factory-set value: 1/60)
Iris level
Brightness adjustment for a DC IRIS lens.
A smaller value makes images darker, closing the iris.
The values set in this screen return to the ones
set at the factory.
Click [Apply] to update the settings.
